I am reporting Louisa Stalnaker  807 B Street  Lenoir City, TN 37771 princessofmoon@webtv.net. I sent her my TBBear set for her Inch and Zip beanies. We agreed to ship on the same day, June7, 1999. Also, her references.....I do not have access to them anymore but I believe them to all be accounts that she runs herself. After I shipped my TBBears, I waited, and after about 10days I emailed her about the delay. She said she had been very sick in the hospital, and was still sick, so she'd have someone mail them for her on the next Friday (about 4 days away). Since then I have waited and waited. I continue to email her about the delay but she doesn't respond anymore. I warn everyone to BEWARE of her!

I have been quite ill for awhile and have just gotten out of the hospital. I had no way to contact anyone while I was there. I will email her in the morning to let her know that zip and inch are on their way. My husband will have to mail them since I am not able to get around yet. Louisa

I found out to late that this person keeps your money. I have seen since that she has several complaints and is on the bad traders list. Last I heard from her she was going to send my money back + $5.00 for my trouble. Yeah, right. But, I am not going to take it. I am going to her home town and to the police and get some results. Yes, she  finally sent my money back + the 5.00. But from the e-mail I am getting, some people are out a lot more than I was. I would not trade with her again. Plus she kept changing her email addresses and if you(bad traders list) had not gotten involved she would never have sent anything to me.

Hi. It was suggested to me by a fellow Ebay trader to contact you about a bad trader I've experienced on ebay. I am looking for any kind of assistance in resolving an ebay transaction where I sent the person $803.75 for 24 Osito Beanie Babies. I sent her this money in the form of a Postal Money Order on 6/1/99. She didn't send the merchandise for a long time and continued to make empty promises. Finally, I requested that she return my money, which she agreed to do but as of this date all I have received is empty promises and lies (after considerable time had passed I no longer wanted the merchandise since prices drop rapidly on beanie babies once they've been out a while and I would have lost my shirt on them). Recently, I received a couple of e-mails from other ebay users who had seen the negative feedback that I left for her and found out that she goes under various alias ID's on ebay and had attempted to rip off many of them as well. I think most have gotten there money back but most likely the amount was not as considerable as mine was. The contact information that I was given was the name of Mrs. David Key at 807 B Street, Lenoir City, TN 37771. Phone number of 423-986-9828. The Ebay ID she used with me was nanastoys@webtv.net. This is also her e-mail address which she has been responding too. Other Aliases that she has used in the past are chocolatemonkey@webtv.net, princessofmoon@webtv.net, serena18 and mimiscafe@webtv.net. She also goes by the name of Louisa Stalnaker.I have filed all the necessary Internet Fraud Reports but haven't gotten any response from them yet or any hope of receiving my money. Mrs. Key did send me an e-mail saying that I would have my money back by September 16 but today is the 17th and I still haven't received anthing. I don't believe anything she says since she has made promises in the past and never follows through.If there is anything you can do for me to help resolve this situation, I would be greatly appreciative. Last week I posted a BAD TRADER ALERT on this site..her name is GAIL KEY,(or that's the name she used with me). Since my posting, I have received advice from other people who also had bad trades with her. I followed through on this advice and now I would just like to let everyone know that Gail Key did contact me. She did not have N.F.B.Teddy as originally promised, but she offered to send buddies instead. Although I wasn't happy with this offer, I did accept it because I figured something from her was better than nothing at all. I did receive the buddies on 9/13 and they were in good condition. I would never trade with her again, because she doesn't keep her promises or her end of the trade. I am trying to get a warning out there about a lady who is selling on the No Bidding.com site. She sold 2 bears to me and I haven't seen them and she won't answer my emails. I wouldn't worry too much over my 21 dollars, but she posted way over 60 ads with 2-3 dozen beanies at each one. The feedback is mounting , everyone is saying the same thing and some are out ALOT of money. I want to help and to stop this asap. I sent an email to The Attorney general's office in Tennessee, I sent as many warnings in as many places as I can find. Tonight I got an email from another victim, and she thinks the lady has changed name and email. The ads are the same. I will list the information below, please let me know what else to do!! Maxines beanies will be going out tomorrow with a tracking number. I wound up with to many orders and got way to far behind to get caught up quickly enough.. I am giving everyone refunds or beanies. Whichever I can get out quicker. Her beanies go out monday afternoon though.

Dear cautionlist elf, Thank you for emailing me. This has all turned into a huge nightmare for me, and I know it has for all my customers too. I was trying to do somethig good by selling the beanies at $1 over my cost, but I ran way to many ads (thinking I could handle the response), and I was bombarded with orders from very nice people, but I got way in over my head. Last week I got help to try and get everything done quicker, but that resulted in getting orders mixed up, and partial orders sent out, and everything just went haywire.All I want at this point is just to refund every single individual their money, and if they have allready received a partial order I would like them to just keep it, and I would still refund their money. I honestly never meant to hurt anyone, especially not children most of all. What I wanted to try to be a good thing turned very bad. I thought I could handle it and I can't. I have no intention of keeping anybodys money, or taking anything from anyone. I made several promises to ship to people, and then did not do it. I did not do this intentionally, I just took on to much all at one time and it is to confusing trying to keep up, and the harder I try to fix things the more I mess things up, and I don't ever want to sell beanies again. I am so stressed out I can't even think straight. There were so many nice people who bought from me and were so patient and I let them down without truly meaning to. People I believe are allready filing with the attorney generals office, and mail fraud and I don't know what else. I have emailed most people but I think some emails may not have gotten through. Please, please, please, help me, I just want to get this over with and return everyones money instead of going through orders (because I apparantly can't handle it, and have made a big mess ot of everything). AFTER I mailed my money order I received a notice to not send payment and cancel my order. Since I had already sent payment, I have sent numerous emails requesting return my money order to me and to respond to my email. I am sending Linda Matthews refund by western union ths afternoon, I was supposed to have sent Shonis money last fridy but I am on my way to do that now, R Segners money will go out tomorrow by priority mail, and Diane Zimmermans beanies are supposed to be shipped tomorrow. I just got an email from Carol Sanders saying that she received her refund yesterday. I have spoken to the Detective in my area, and I am in the process of obtaining a loan so that I can quickly get all remaining complaints resolved. The loan should arrive in a couple days. Linda and Diane will be taken care of first. I did email Diane a day or two ago. I was in the hospital all day monday,so I was not able to get in contact with anyone or do anything on that day. I have been trying to keep my email clear but it keeps getting full. The detective I am working with needs to know for a fact that Kimberly Sylvestri, and Cathe Andrews have received their refunds ok, he knows that I am working hard to bring this all to a close, and to get everybody taken care of quickly. I refunded Cathie and Kimberly's money in the last week and a half in December, which I have proof of. I tried to email them yesterday, but have not heard anything back, this could be because my email keeps filling up.From here on, I will only be in contact with the actual people I need to get refunds or orders to, plus trudy, and the detective in my area. TJ’s Collectibles and Toys from Tiffany Louise/ Gail Key. I ordered 2dzn The End Bears Nov 10 on Nobidding for $330. I did this for my entire office at work. After a couple weeks everyone wanted their money back. Gail kept in contact but it was always empty promises. She sent me $50 cash on Dec. 8 leaving a $280 balance, and she said that she must have sent the full amount to someone else by accident. I opened this in front of the Postmaster just in case for proof. I told her that I needed that money badly because I had to pay everyone back at my office and I had to use my kids Christmas layaway money. Well of course I did not get my money and I want everyone to know that my kid received only a few gifts each because of this. I have never had someone do this to me before and I will never use nobidding or any other Internet purchase again. I was shocked when I saw all these other people she has deceived.

The last e-mail I received from this person was on 1/14/00 and read "My apologies for not getting back to you sooner, they will go out monday". I'm sorry for not getting back to you sooner. The original loan I took out o repay people turned out to be so small once it got to me that it wasn't even worthwhile, very upsetting. So I have decided to refinance my house so I can get the appropriate loan that I need. I am getting ready for it to be finanalized on wednesday feb. 15 or 16. My new mortgage company said everything is ago, it just needs to be fialized, this is good. They said my loan check should be here near feb. 18, but not later than Feb. 25th. And on that day, (or before, if it gets here earlier) I will get everyone left, completely finished. I don't think there will be a happier day in my entire life then when I can get everyoe taken care of and put this huge nightmare that this has caused so many nice people to be angry with me, behind me. I did receive a loan but after the company's finance charges to me (something they didn't inform me abot in the beginning), it was to small to amount to anythig, it didn't even help me a little, and thats the truth. The reason I haven't gotten back to you sooner was because my family and I have been spit shining our house because the appraiser was coming out to appraise or home so I could get a second mortgage on it with a big enough monetary loan included so that I could get everyone taken care of all at one time plus pay off some of my blls. I really and sincerely apologize for how long ths is taking.I have spoken to my mortgage agent and they approved my house and my loan and said the house paperork will be finalized next wednesday and I can pick up my loan check around the 23rd but no later than the 26th. I am so excited that all of this is finally going to be over because I never meant for it to be like this or to hurt anyone. I am allready making out all the priority mail envelopes and tracking number tickets now so that the minute I get the money all I have to do is get the money orders and make them out and send everyones money out all on the same day. The loan I had been waiting for, and received, was much much smaller than I expected.. So I applied for a second mortgage on my house. The mortgage company I am going through has approved my loan and it is absolutely big enough to take care of every single one of my customers that are left on my list. My mortgage agent said the "Closing" paperwork on my house will be finalized this wednesday, and that I will be able to pick up my "Loan" check on around Feb. 23rd, but no later than Feb. 25th..So every single person left on my list will have what they are due, or will receive a tracking number proving that what they are due is on it's way, no later than Feb. 25th..(In other words, everything will be in the mail and on it's way by the 25th) So this whole horrible mess will be wrapped up by the evening of Feb. 25th. (no more delays or excuses) I am so excited that this whole nightmare will finally be over with.I deeply apologize for all the problems I caused, and I am sending all of my customers a copy of this letter so they are aware of my intentions. I'm sorry I didn't respond sooner but I was waiting to hear when my check would be available for pickup. Beware of Angelique Stalnaker

I sold a Blue Face Spangle to Angelique Stalnaker(dinosaurworld@webtv.net) for $25.00. She told me payment was on the way. I mailed out her beanie on April 28, 2000. The beanie was received by her on May 1, 2000 and on May 5, 2000 she was kind enough to finally let me know it had arrived, saying she had just received it that day. Thank goodness for delivery confirmation.  I told her I still had not received her payment. She claimed it may have gotten lost in the mail and she would resend it the next morning. I knew then it had not been sent at all. I still have not received her payment as of today May 16, 2000. I did send her an email and advise her that I would be pressing charges. She has not bothered to answer my last two emails. In two years of trading this is the first bad transaction I have had. Anyone who comes into contact with this trader beware. Let her ship first. If anyone has had a similiar experience with this person please let me know. She lives in Lenoir City, TN.  Kasey

After listing a negative feedback I got a response from her saying she would send my money back but after many more e-mails I still have not received it. Now that I see she has been doing this for many months it seems futile. Any help I can get would be appreciated. By the way I paid with Pay Pal and they don't seem much help. Stay away from her. Her word is no good.

After much time, effort and e-mails back and forth to Ms. Stalnaker, all I've received are a lot of empty promises; no refund. I've contacted the Lenoir City police department as well. ANY suggestions? HELP!!

I have filed a complaint with the Internet Fraud Complaint Center. I have received an email from them asking for all the pertinent information,  dates, email addresses, etc. They also asked for other parties emails that I may know of. I have given them all the information asked for and given them the email addresses of others taken by this person. I also gave them the link to the pages on the Caution List. They are in the process of following up on all of the complaints and will be turning over any information to the proper law enforcement agencies to take care of this scammer. If anyone needs to file a complaint against her, go to the Internet Fraud Complaint Center at www.ifccfbi.gov. These people are a government agency! Something will be done and she will be prosecuted. She cheated me out of $508.25 almost two years ago on an eBay auction, and I have almost given up ever seeing any of my money again. That "lady" is something else - why hasn't she been put in jail yet?? I have printed documentation of the auction, Email correspondence, my Demand for Payment letter, the Mail Fraud Complaint I filed with the USPS a year ago, etc. Can you help me get any of my money back? I talked to Detective Sartin Tuesday, 6-26-01, and he told me he had Gail in jail, but she is now out on bond. He said she took one lady for $5,000, and that woman is coming to TN to press charges. He will then take Gail before a Grand Jury for an indictment. He said after Court costs and fines are paid that maybe all the rest of us who haven't gotten paid can file a Civil Class action against Gail Key. Gail cashed my money order July 7, 1999 - two (2) years ago THIS July 7th. I NEED TO KNOW how long the Statutes of Limitations run on this type of Grand Theft, and, if it is 2 years, I need to immediately file a Small Claims case against Gail Key to get a default judgment against her and protect the $508.25 she owes me.
