I was contacted by William Hudson on 4/2/00 via an unsolicited e-mail
(SPAM). He stated that he had reviewed my bidding history on Ebay for some
Ty beanie bears and noted that I was not the successful bidder. He stated
that he had the same bears available for sale and would sell me the bears
for my losing maximum bid amount. He also stated that he would provide same
day shipment for payment via PayPal. I reviewed his feedback on Ebay, and
although I noted that he had changed his username, his recent feedback was
positive. So, I accepted his offer for purchase of Halo II and The Beginning
Bear for $44 plus $4 shipping and sent my payment via PayPal. As of today,
I have not received my bears. He gave me an order confirmation number of
B40302 for this order. I have contacted William Hudson numerous times via
e-mail and have also requested a refund from him on PayPal. He has refused
to respond to my e-mails--except in two instances, one where I informed him
that I would report him to Ebay if he did not respond and the second where
he tells me he will not refund my money--and has refused to honor my refund
request on PayPal. His Ebay username is CornerCollection@aol.com and the
address he gave me for payment was:
1960 Spectrum Cir #710
Marietta, GA 30067
I have already reported William Hudson to Ebay. They have stated that
they have warned him regarding SPAM solicitations but that they can not assist
me with the fact that he has committed fraud due to the fact that this was
an off-auction transaction. They suggested that I report him to his Internet
Service Provider and the National Consumer Fraud Watch web site. I have done
both of these things as well. I have also reported William Hudson's activities
to PayPal, who has also refused to take any action--stating that they are
not an escrow service. I know that I am probably out of luck with regards
to my $48 and my beanie bears, but I would at least like to report this to
you so that other honest auction participants do not fall victim to this
person. I have retained copies of all e-mail correspondence between myself
and Mr. Hudson, and can provide copies upon request. Thanks for your assistance.

Whoever you think that you are, I have explained to Clablue that this
order was sent out.... I have not gotten this order back in return so I figured
that the order must have gone thru....Why you became involved, I do not
know...Why you would threaten me with fraud charges, etc makes no sense.
I can resolve this by sending another pair to this person, I just rec'd my
May shipment on Friday...$48 is not that big a deal to file and throw every
charge in the book at someone...I do not put delivery confirmation on order
under $50....Again, I will take care of this tonight if not first thing
tomorrow...William

Thank you for your assistance. I will be sure to let you know immediately,
if and when I receive this package. I find it interesting that I must have
e-mailed him 15 times, before contacting you, asking for nothing more than
the date he shipped this package or a refund if he hadn't. I also find it
interesting that he thought the order came through when I e-mailed him every
day telling him that it didn't. I even stated that I needed to know so I
could follow up with the postal service if it had simply been lost and this
was all a misunderstanding. I guess it isn't as hard to remember when something
was shipped and be professional enough to respond to an e-mail when you are
contemplating going to jail. Anyway, I appreciate your help. Thanks!!

Just wanted to let you know that I still have not received a package or
a refund from William Hudson, CornerCollection@aol.com, over the weekend.
As your web site suggests, I have not contacted Mr. Hudson via e-mail since
I placed my complaint with you. What I have done, however, is obtain the
addresses and phone numbers for both the Attorney General's office in Georgia
and the Marietta, Georgia police department. It has now been six weeks since
I ordered and paid for these items that were supposed to be shipped to me
the next day. I think that it is fairly clear now that Mr. Hudson has no
intention of coming through with either my order or my refund. Should I go
ahead and file charges? Should I e-mail him and let him know that I am doing
so? Will either the attorney general or the police take this seriously given
that the dollar amount here is $48, or am I wasting my time pursuing this
any further? How should I proceed now? Thanks, Coby

This trader has fed you a line the entire time....You place me on the bad
traders and I will be the one filing charges...Against both of you!!!

Cautionlist: Package was still not delivered as of today. If mailed the 9th
of May it would have been there long before today.
May 16, 2000
Update from: clablue@jps.net
Because I still have not received my package or my refund, I have sent
William Hudson an e-mail informing him of my intention to file fraud charges
with the Georgia state Attorney General's Office and the Marietta, Georgia
police department. I have given him until 5 p.m. on Wednesday, May 17th to
refund my money on PayPal. I have told him that my documentation will be
forwarded to these agencies along with my request that fraud charges be brought
against him if he has not responded by that time. Just wanted to keep you
informed of what is happening on my end, and thank you for trying to assist
me in resolving this. Thanks, Coby

Won auction #1699165373 with shipping to be by March 4th. When the item
was not received I emailed Mr. Hudson just to ask when he did expect to ship.
He did not reply even though he posted new auction 3 hours after I sent the
email. The next day I emailed again with the same question. Again, no answer
but he posted new auctions. After checking I see that he has auctioned over
500 International Bears in the month of February. His feedback is mostly
from buying/selling inexpensive trading cards. I have heard from several
other of his auction winners and they are not getting the merchandise or
a response. BEWARE!!!
I recently bid on an Ebay auction offering a Freiherr Von Schwarz beanie. It ended on March 9th and it was a 30 day presale. Although 30 days is not up yet, I still feel I have been cheated. The man I bought this from is Ty Hudson. His email is futurestarcards@yahoo.com. I saw that he recently got suspended from Ebay, but I do not know what for. He owes me $46.95 or a Freiherr. He did respond to a few emails saying that he was waiting for his dealer to ship him the bears and would send me a refund if he didn't have them by the 31st. The auction number was 1711596354 but it is no longer available for viewing. I have all emails to and from him if you wish to see them. Thanks.
His address:

I should have followed my gut when I saw him give me the PO Box address.

Once again i would like your help. On 26th of February i won a Freiherr Von Schwarz beanie by Buy it now on ebay from the above. It was a presell auction and i posted a cheque in the amount of $50.01 on the 28th of February.I emailed the seller a few days later and asked if the cheque had arrived they said it had. Since i hadn't heard anything in awhile about the delivery of the bear i emailed the seller Ty Hudson (ebay@futurestarcards.com) wanting some info on when the bear will be sent out or if it already had. Ty did not respond to any of my emails asking for info i sent about 4 altogether. Then i looked up (futurestarcards) on ebay and saw that they now have been suspended. I did not have the item number of the bear i had won up until yesterday when ebay emailed me with it so i was able to get this person work phone number and details (which i have included at the end of this email). I phoned him at work yesterday and asked him to refund me into my paypal today(at the time yesterday) and he said it would have to be last night. Now today i still have received no refund despite sending the seller a request for money through paypal. I now fear he is not going to refund me. As you know this has happened to me already with a fake bronty and i don't want it to happen again. I really expected to have been refunded by thismorning. Another girl emailed me about this seller also and she told me that she also is waiting for a refund from Ty Hudson i have forwarded it to you. I would be very greatful if you would try to help me i found you very helpful the last time. Here are the details...

I have also been cheated by Mr. Hudson. However, I do have contact information for Mr. Hudson, and in fact, just got off the phone with him. The phone number I have is his work number, so he apparently is pretty easy to catch there. I just gave him a 24 hour ultimatum to ship my bear or my money back, or I would contact the police department in Atlanta, GA. Here is the contact information on him, which I obtained from Ebay:
Contact information for futurestarcards:

I am fully serious in that I will file charges on him if he doesn't refund
my money. However, he was very polite over the phone and assured me that
he has no problem in refunding my money, and would contact me by email within
24 hours. Jolee Harville

I won an ebay auction on March 5th 2002, from William Hudson aka Ty Hudson
aka futurestarcards@ebayauctions. I sent him money through PayPal for a Graf
Von Rot and have not received it nor will Mr. Hudson answer my e-mails. I
am worried as I have heard bad feedback about him. I just want my money back.
I have contacted the other lady that has had bad deal with him that posted
on the badtraderslist, and was hoping that you could advise. Thanks so much,

I posted a warning earlier, but I don't know if I went through the right channels.
My letter involves an individual by the name of Ty or William Hudson,
futurestarcards. I purchased a Freiherr Von Schwarz bear from Mr. Hudson
on March 9, 2002. Asof today I have received neither bear nor refund. I contacted
this guy several times by e-mail, only after a threat did he respond. He
said he was having trouble with his supplier and if he did not have the bears
by March 31, he would be issuing refunds. I heard nothing further from him
until I obtained his phone# from e-bay. I have talked with him 3 times since,
and each time he said he would refund my money,$57.90. I now have received
an e-mail from him, after telling him that I would file charges, that pay
pal has frozen all of his money, and that I will not receive a refund until
pay pal releases his funds! I have filed with my bank and I have filed a
fraud complaint with e-bay. I was not able to get through on the National
Fraud Protection site but I will call them tomorrow. This guy is a real piece
of work! He needs to be banned from doing any further business on-line. Thanks
and I appreciate any assistance you may offer. David Mckinley

Ordered Freiherr beanie, paid asap, waited the month as it was a presell.
He then became nonregistered with ebay and lied to me to wait beanie will
come or you will get refund, tried to stall and delay everything until 60
days so I couldn't do anything about it. I contacted my credit card company
just in time before the 60 days to try and get my $46 back. Don't know how
may people he ripped off and he unregistered himself to avoid any more negative
feedbacks. So, I can't leave one.

For the first time I checked this site on the 8th, I saw names of some
tradesrs I dealt with and have not received items yet. One is Ty Hudson!
I bought three items from him on Feburuary 5th and 7th. eBay auction numbers
are #1700051349, #1700930041, and #1701031886. Two of which are Freiherr
Con Schwarz and one, England. I paid by PayPal and never heard from him again.
I sent an e-mail on March 11th requesting to cancel England accordingly to
30 day buyers cancel right. He contacted me the same day and told me he has
England in hand and can send it out right away. I told him I want refund
on the item since it was his own fault not to send me the item trying to
save on the postage eventhough I paid for 3 individual postages for them!
It was obvious he tried to send me all three with one postage! Another month
went by so quickly and when I saw your site I sent him another e-mail asking
my status of those bears. I have not heard from him as of today. I just sent
him another mail asking for all bears' refund! If I don't hear from him by
Monday, I will be forced to take a further action... I hava good faith in
people and very new to auction world. Now more than 60 days have passed and
PayPal nor eBay will help me. What should I do if Ty Hudson ripps me off?
Please, I need some help! Summie Aoki

This is an update for my posting on Friday and Saturday(sorry for the
duplicate!). Finally, Mr. Hudson contacted me this morning(4/13) and explained
me his PayPal account has been seized and could not send me refund. He did
apologize for not communicating with me and promised as soon as account has
been returned to him, he'll refund all money. He sounded very sincere and
for the time being, I will keep my faith in him. I will post again if he
does not keep up his end of bargain. I'd like to thank everybody who sent
me all the informations about him and tips how to undo damages! Thank you!

Talked with Det. Sgt. Ellis of the Cobb County, Ga. sheriff's office. He told me that he advied our friend to refund my money via money order. Last night I got an e-mail from our friend to inform me that a money order was sent yesterday. I contacted the IFCC, and they contacted Cobb County Sheriff. I also gave the Det. the address to Mr. Hudson's web page. I hope this information is helpful to everyone, and that this will be the end of this mess. If you need help with your deal contact Det. I am adding my complaint to this growing list, there must be hundreds
like us out there because of all the auctions he ran on Ebay. I paid for
2 auctions with PayPal totaling over $100.00 using my Bank account because
PayPal suggested that is what they wanted. Now I see he says his PayPal account
is frozen and he can't refund and I have no recourse with a credit card because
PayPal suggested using my Bank. I have written PayPal to try and get some
answers. Hoping someone in Georgia can find this guy, or the police or somebody.

Thank you Trudy! I just sent an e-mail to detective Ellis regarding my
(3) transactions I am dealing with Ty Hudson. I had a great bit for both
my Freiherr for $30-37 each (Well, it just became a dream and now I have
to buy him for around $60!) so total of three was only $122.74. But if he
took $50-100 from all of us, it will be multi-thousands! I hope I will get
a refund soon... I will post again when that happens. Thanks again, Trudy!
And many others who sent me e-mails about him!

When i heard from another buyer on Saturday that when Ty Hudson reluctantly
refunded her, he sent her back the ORIGINAL Money order she had sent to him
for the item he had never cashed it. Well since i had the copy of the Cashiers
cheque i sent him on the 28th of February i went to the bank today just as
a last resort! To my surprise my cheque HADN'T even been cashed! So the bank
have stopped the cheque and are refunding me my $50.01. The only reason i
had not checked before is because when i phoned Ty Hudson and asked him for
my refund he said fine! Therefore i thought the cheque had been cashed. Why
didnt he just say that he did not cash it! What in the name of god is this
Ty person up too? Anyway please put this post up because maybe he has scammed
other people and not cashed their cheques or money orders yet either and
they don't know it. My advice to everyone would be if they have a copy, check
to see if it has been cashed! I hope to god someone puts a stop to this person
for good! Thanks Leslie

On March 6, 2002 I won Frieherr von Schwarz beanie Baby on presale. I paid with Billpoint to the amount of $60.05. I have patientily waited for just over a month for this beanie, within that time Mr. Hudson did reply to my emails, albeit delayed responses, last week i sent him an email looking for his reponse by today. It is coming up on two months from the end of this auction and i know i need to start proceedings if I want eBay and Billpoint or my Credit card company to help me. EBay item # 1710825548 .
I have emailed him today demanind for a response or else I will have to
contact the IFCC and my law authorities. I'd very much like any help in this
matter; and from the looks of it, I am NOT th only one waiting for this person
to send refunds!

First off, I am sorry to all of those that I have offended. This was never
my intention. I have had my PayPal account frozen for 40+ days now and tonight
finally had someone take some action on my account. I was able to refund
a number of people for their beanies this evening. I am by no means done
and was told that I will have access to my account hopefully in the next
24-48 hours. I am writing to say that I am running from no one. I have resolved
many of your issues already. I will not stop until all are solved. I have
heard from Detective Ellis as previously mentioned...I intend to clear all
of this up with or without his advice. I am acting on my own will, not by
anyone's force (sincerely meant, not a threat). I hope all that I deal with
will one day forgive me for the delays that I have caused and hope that they
all find Freiherr or Graf at some point in time. Please email me and I will
respond, I do not need enemies and hope to please everyone eventually. I
am not a bad person as many have accused. I fell victim to a system that
snowballed immensely. I will make this right....Your friend, William Ty Hudson

then paid by paypal for $135.00. I then ordered the German bear for $55.90
and paid by paypal both in the first week in Feb 2002 I have not been nasty
in my e-amils to him requesting my bears but he has decided to refund my
money instead of sending my bears because paypal put an identity hold on
his account the end of march. I have made several attempts and now he just
ignores my e-mails when I ask him when I can expect my refund. I just want
my money back now like he said he would do.

not make things right, I do feel that I have been compensated. Thanks for

I had won a pre-sell auction on Feb 13 for Scotland beanie fromo Mr. Hudson

I keep getting delay after delay and had issued an e-mail exactly 7 days

and I was not one of these people. As of midnight, I submitted an Internet
Fraud Complaint with the FBI. I will be going to the post office today and
submit a fraud complaint with them. This guy is a scam artist! I was more

Hello, once again I find I am in need of your help regarding a bad beanie
transaction. On 3-11-02 I purchased a pre-sell Graf Von Rot from

$57.55. I have had several email promises from this seller but unfortunately
no bear or refund. Now I do not get any email response from him. I see on
the bad trader list he has ripped quite a few people off but has also refunded
a few people. I am hoping a email from you will convince him to refund my

Victims of Ty Hudson,
On Aug 14, 2002 I met with Mr Hudson at my office at the High Tech Crime Sqad. He assured me his problems have been unintentional and committed to contacting all of his dissatisfied customers to work out a refund schedule. A requirement for prosecuting him for fraud involves his intent to defraud you, not just poor business practices. Since he was willing to meet with me and supply me with adaquate proof of identification, I will give him the opportunity to make these contacts and make the refunds. If he doesn't take the necessary steps to locate you and come to a resolution we will get involved and pursue him with prosecution. If you have not heard from him within the week, contact me and I can supply you with a home and work phone number. I apologize for any delay but we have been overwhelmed lately. Thanks Again

Below is a copy of the e-mail I sent to PayPal trying to get this matter resolved. So far, nothing has been done. Didn't know about the traderlist until recently, but just finished putting a complaint on there. Thank you for any help you can provide. If I can answer any questions, please contact me anytime.
The total of 224.14 was for 6 Ty Beanie Babies I won on Ebay auctions from the seller to be delivered by 3/6/02:
1-England exclusive, auction 1700515182, date 2/6/02, $35.00
1-England exclusive, auction 1700515176, date 2/6/02, $35.00
1-Scotland exclusive, auction 1700515181, date 2/6/02, $35.00
1-Scotland exclusive, auction 1700515187, date 2/6/02, $35.00
1-Wales exclusive, auction 1700515186, date 2/6/02, $37.05
1-Wales exclusive, auction 1700515192, date 2/6/02, $36.14
Shipping was $5.95 shipping for 1st bears and $1.00 additional shipping for
each additional bear.
What I received from the seller was 4 England Exclusives which were shipped
by the seller on 4/3/02. I sent the seller an email regarding this on 4/6/02
and a copy of the email by US Postal Service return receipt requested on
4/7/02, I have not gotten a response from either. I also included my home
telephone number so he could contact me by phone at his convenience. By my
calculations I owe the seller $76.95 for the (2) England Exclusive bears
I ordered plus postage. The seller still owes me $147.19 for the bears I
DID NOT RECEIVE plus $6.95 to return the (2) England Exclusive bears I DID

Hi--Mr. Hudson never contacted me again since May, but that is probably
since I contacted my credit card company, and got them to give me a chargeback,
so, instead, I assume they went after him, so he would have payed them. So--the
issue is pretty much resolved between he and myself, thankfully. Thanks for
all your help in this matter.

Thank you for getting in contact with me. I contacted my creditcard company
and they took off the charges. I would have rather make HIM reimburse me
instead of having the credit card company absorb his dishonesty. Because
my creditcard was credited , at this point, not sure what I can do to make
HIM return the credit card company's money. Brenda Solomon

I just received the attached e-mail from Ty Hudson about sending me a refund by the end of the month for the 2 eBay auctions I won from him. I certainly hope he is telling the truth this time & that I receive a money order from him & also that everyone else does too. Thanks again for all your help. Carmen Cutrone

Hello Carmen,
After many phone calls and emails, I have finally gotten a commitment
from PayPal for them to issue me a check on the 25th of this month. This
is 6 months from the time they claim to have locked my account. They
actually locked it earlier than that... Anyway, I can today write you a check
for your refund and date it for the 1st so that you at least have an instrument
to be re-imbursed or if you want a money order, I can do so at the end of
the month when this check is received... Let me know as I am just as eager
to end this as you are... Ty
