Comments: I have a Look KG 381i bicycle frame advertised on a on-line classified.
James Clayton contacted me, said he wanted the frame and felt more comfortable
with C.O.D due to the big dollar amount. I sent the frame out UPS C.O.D.
The total cost to me for shipping was $48. When the frame got there, he did
not accept it on any of the three tries that UPS made. The frame is now in
transit back to me. I am out the $48. I called him twice and e-mailed him
but got no response.

Comments: Purchased 12 beanies end of April on Ebay, it is now July 23 and still havent gotten items that were paid for and insured. Seller refuses to provide any package tracking information, file an insurance claim or refund money. I have gotten quite a few emails from others he has scammed on Ebay as well.
Unfortunately he is a power seller and IMHO Ebay is more concerned about
the money he makes them as opposed to his deceptive pratice. Just a thought...
if people put the power of their voices together and contacted Ebays president,
this might force them to make fradulent sellers accountable. Myabe wishful
thinking, maybe not

The FBI sent a reply they received my complaint as did the attorney
general.
I ordered some t-shirts off of CafePress.com 2 of which were plain versions of the ones I ordered from A.C. Not long after I received an e-mail from MaryAnne saying she saw I ordered the shirts and wanted to "repair our relationship" could she send me my order. Discover Card is in the process of investigating my complaint. I should have just said no. (think i would have learned by now) I replied we have no "relationship" and I expect the merchandise as ordered or the money. She said they would fulfill the order. I gave them 2 weeks. I received an e-Mail from Mark saying they would ship out the week of July 4. ...which came and went without the shirts (of course). I sent an e-mail back and told Discover Card to pursue the refund. Mark e-mails back and says the order was large (8 shirts is a large order?) and he would have it to me by by the 20th. Why I acquiesced I'll never know.
Lo and Behold the merchandise arrived today. only 3 of the 8 shirts were sent as ordered and one shirt is such bad quality it isn't even worth $5 let alone the $95 I was charged. The printing quality is way inferior to what you see on the website.....The $115 t-shirt I ordered was put on a pink shirt (i would NEVER order or wear pink) when ordered on white. How hard can it be to get 8 shirts correct. I wrote Mark that I expect a replacement on 5 shirts as ordered or a full refund and have informed Discover. I told him I will not remove my postings from this site until the situation is resolved.
Word to the wise. The shirts are way OVERPRICED for the quality and expecially the service. Funny, the web site says they guarantee the quality......
Will my nightmare EVER END?

I got from these frauds. I will attach it here. I know I will never see my
money and it was a small amount because of the big sale deal. However, I
was looking forward to my shirt. I had gotten two shirts from them previously
so I went into this second order thinking things would be ok. By the way,
one of the shirts I did get from them has since disintegrated
with washing.
Best of luck
Maureen

Comments: I came across your site today - following is the last
communication I sent to AC (Americana Couture) in January '05.
My name is Rochelle Bernstein. Almost one year ago, I ordered a shirt 'gratis' from a certificate received at a Hollywood award presentation. In this past year, you have given me all types of stories and even had my sympathies for what you presented as 'business problems due to the ineptness of everyone else. You offered me one, then two additional gifts as compensation for the long overdue product. I received emails almost weekly from Mark and Maryanne. I was given on two occasions shipping information, but when I attempted to confirm with the USPS, they had no record of those shipments.
But now, eleven months later, those emails are all I received. A few months ago, as I searched the web hoping to find a personal contact or phone number I came across a site that included a bevy of letters and articles outlining how your company scammed thousands of people by never delivering the merchandise ordered and subsequently promised. Apparently, your firm was under investigation by several agencies including the Attorney General's office and the Bureau of Consumer Fraud and any other office that may investigate fraud on an interstate level. I read with a great deal of interest Mark's responses to those accusations and in some cases he sounded believable. I read the outlines of the various class action suits being brought against your company for non compliance to a contract (a contract being an agreement, either in writing or verbal, for one party to deliver in return for consideration by another party. In this case, your company seemed to have received thousands of dollars from eager would-be-customers, and was to deliver shirts to them in return. This constitutes a contractual agreement in all states.)
I read with anger the facts presented, and the retort by Mark. I could not join this group of embittered individuals, since I had tendered no money to you. I was, however, as much a victim of your empty promises and your fraudulent business practices as was the party who sent you funds.
If I had the power to protest or lead a rally against your illegal business practices, I would. You wasted so much of my time -- getting your company to recognize the 'code' on the gift certificate in the first place, browsing your site for a selection; reading email after email; numerous calls to the postal service to check out the nonexistent confirmation numbers, and several hours of additional time and usage of search engines to select my complementary/compensatory gift items.
I'm almost sorry I never did tend any money to you; then I would be eligible
to join those who want to bury you.
Rochelle Bernstein

I placed an online order with this company in january of 2005. I ordered
1 t-shirt from them and they debited it from my account three days later
in the amount of $52.00 and change. It is now July and I have yet to receive
either a refund or my merchandise. Like all the other emails I have read
I too have received emails from Mark stating that it's in the mail or it
will be shipped. There is even a link to the post office website with a tracking
number which read "shipped" for the past 6 months. Then it said it landed
in Arizona, I live in new Hampshire. I have tried contacting Mark to rectify
this and I never hear back or if I do it's just another excuse. I have saved
all his emails and false promises, I will be contacting the better business
bureau also regarding this matter. These people are unbelievable.

Comments: He says he is from Thornton Colorado. I bought through ebay a Nintendo
DS for my son and never recieved it. $135 I lost on one bid. Tomas Mascasrenas
is a fraud with a record. Check out the other complaints:
http://www.traderlist.com/TomasMascarenas.html Just a warning to you to not
trust this guy. I thought it would be safe enough to buy though ebay though
I guess this isn't the case. He has given a fake telephone number to ebay.
When I call the number I get a Concrete company on the line. They have never
heard of him.
Beware of the name: Tomas Mascasrenas from Thornton Colorado. Who knows if this is his real name and if this is where he is from???
