Protect Yourselves!
When you purchase a beanie from someone, or trade for one, please
request that the seller/trader put a string through the tush tag of
the beanie and fasten the ends of the string with a folded over return address
label stuck to itself and the ends of the string. (The kind you have to moisten
work best, but if self-stick are used, they should be reinforced with clear
tape.) Before you ship a beanie to anyone, please do the same thing. If for
any reason the transaction has to be reversed, you and the other trader will
be assured that the same beanies that were received will be returned IF the
string and label are intact. When purchasing or trading, also ask the other
trader for the letters and numbers inside the tush tag of the newer beanies.
Keep records of all conversations, and a copy of all
auctions.
JULY 2001
*Note from Mediators...As of August 1, 2001 we will only
be posting complaints from actual victims who have confirmed they
have received counterfeits from the people they are complaining about. If
you know of someone who has received a counterfeit, that person MUST be the
one to contact us with the complaint. Anyone is welcome to send us names
and user IDs of any SUSPICIOUS counterfeit dealers for our files, but they
will not be posted although they may be given to authorities for further
investigation.
July , 2001
U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft said federal officials would crack down
on an increasing wave of cybercrime by beefing up 10 specialized units so
they can better concentrate on catching hackers and pirates. The squads,
dubbed Computer Hacking and Intellectual Property, or CHIP, units will focus
on copyright theft, computer fraud and hacking.

Comments: We have as our piece de resistance a couple of wingless Quacker
offered by capecod* (starting at a picayune
price of $1, maybe for a picayune beanie? No,
capecod* says they are mint -- hot off the assembly
line perhaps?
Another is offered by spyderfloyd. Zero feedback
but sure know how to list lots of 'em. Check out any
"auctionstop" actions on which you are thinking
of placing a bid. Wonder what this one's ID was before slipping through the
infallible, state-of-the-art detection mechanisms of eBay. Already has 155
auctions going or gone since July 3 when registered.
playaabsolute has got some goodies really worth looking at. Everything
from B to S in (choke) HTF beanies.
sleek-line registered 7/24 and has all the usual SoCa counterfeit
beanies we have come to love so well. Don't understand though, locations
for the auctions say merely "USA." Seller also has some remote control cars
for the tired beanies to ride around in.
Gotta go. Don't say it ain't been grand. It ain't!
P.S. Hey you sweeties who hide under the sheets. I left you alone tonight!!
I know you are disappointed, not.

Comments: Wow, what an AMAZING coincidence! Within the last month all of
these sellers have sold a Libearty with mint tags but a small pink stain
on the head. Wow, for a bear that's been retired for 4 years being sold by
6 "different" sellers it's weird that they all have the same pink stain.
Sellers are diet1234, capecod*, toykoral99, echamps,
star_900 (suspended)& prada*1. If you look at auctions 1622422543,
1620424996, 1616107836, 1616507893, 1617224242 & 1619230314 you will
see they all have Libearty's with the same exact flaw. Wow, small world I
guess.
If you look at auction #1621704809 by new seller
sleek-line and then check 1615116720 by suspended
seller cardsulove it's amazing that they both
use the exact same fonts, colors, pictures, set up etc.
Ebay continues to amaze me. Check these out and judge for yourself if you
want to keep buying there.

she just confirmed today that they are fakes. I have tried to contact Ritu
several times via --mail and she won't respond. I have asked her for a full
refund including shipping exspenses and the cost of having them authenticated.
If she had been honest none of this would have been neccesary as I was praying
they would be authentic and they weren't. I have filed a fraud charge against
her with my local Police and with the FBI and will file with the Postal fraud
Investigators as well.

Comments: On 4-20-01 I won an orange :Digger: on trakmeat@yahoo.com's auction, #581037690. I sent payment 4/21 Certified Mail, RRR, Restricted Delivery. The main address I was provided was 517 Westview Dr., Yukon, OK 73099. Shellie Lindley signed the receipt. I paid $39.06 for the beanie with a total 0-0-p cost to me of $51.75. I was a little surprised when the header for her corrspondence showed it coming from "Alfred Souza", <trakmeat@yahoo.com>. About the same time wannabacowboy2000 on eBay was NARU. Her instructions had been to send payment to the same address:i.e., 517 Westview Drive, Yukon, OK 73099. I had not pulled contact for this ID. The beanie arrived having been shipped from Okla City. It was a sad, soiled, excuse for an orange Digger. It was so obviously fake that I didn't have it authenticated but can still do. The box had the return address of 517 Westview Drive, Yukon, OK 73099 but no sender's name. As wannabacowboy 2000@yahoo.com I had pulled contact which came back as Michelle Cardux, Hillsborough, NC, phone 405-954-5488. I had "won" an auction 1224649426 ($78.01 for a Billionare beanie) with instructions to pay Shellie Lindley at the Yukon address. She was NARU'd before the transaction was consummated. A header from her correspondence showed it was from "hoth shot" (not a typo) <wannabacowboy2000@yahoo.com.> I had offered to pay Shellie double the end of auction price to have the beanie authenticated. There was no response from her.

Comments: Complaint: beanies4sale2001,who did not honor my auction win for a cheapo Billionaire bear, going by name Jessica Parker, had two different locations for contact in a matter of hours and they were Upland, CA and Ontario CA with a third name and address for payment of the beanie which I won on eBay. That name in Yucaipa, CA for payment was to S. Davidson, ***** 6th Street. Land records showed the property owned by a Mr. and Mrs. Davidson. eBay told me to contact "Jessica Parker" and ask her to explain all this. I did, and never had a response, not even a "kiss me." She advised eBay that I had decided not to buy but I soon got that straightened out with Safe Harbor. Now she is selling with the same name, Jessica Parker, and is in Upland. She blocked my bidding (I have over 850 pos. fb) and I just can't understand why!!! Could anyone venture a guess? I am sooo sad.
Oh, and speaking of Yucaipa, "beautifulbags" has done hit the dust with a NARU, just as theteddybearsgarden did before him/her/it. Gosh, all this Yucaipa news when most people haven't heard of of the place.
A plethora of goodies being offered on the auctions now with nice low starting prices. Thought you would be interested in some of these very rare beanies to add to your collections. Golly, how can anyone resist?
First we have that beautiful rare Royal Blue Peanut being offered by the twins, allmustgo2001 and beanies4sale2001; looneygaly; and theofa@idirect.com.
Humphrey the camel we all love, tho' seldom see, is being offered by again the twins, as well as all_4-you who has 2 of 'em. Be careful of bidding on an auction of dewley@altivista.com His heading says beanie baby but the description is for a BUDDY and a teenie.
Chilly the adorable polar bear is being offered by babygoku19, as well as Bronty, Nana, and Flutter, and at such Low starting bids. Also offered by valchicka@aol.com; allmustogo2001; and partylitecandlelady.
Bronty the dino is offered by beaniebobs. Wow, look at his impressive feedback, not; online_hobby, and Holland99.
babygoku19 offers Bronty, Nana, and Flutter at a starting bid of $9.00. Can't beat that can you. Gosh, a paltry $3.00 each! Get thee behind me Satan!
So many rare beanies being offered, so little time. I'll leave it up to y'all
to check on the other rare babies. G'nite!

Comments: I must have been asleep at the wheel, doggone it. Two BBKK (beanie baby klux klan) members who hide under the white sheets of anonymity ("pivate" auctions) listed a few items for a short time. But watch for a reappearance or if you are getting ready to send your hard-earned cash. THINK ABOUT IT. They are snoopy90 and allmustgo2001. Gee, this one is new so she STILL says (gulp!) and already knows how to remove the bids of zero bidders!
Another to watch is looneygaly. All have those rare counterfeits -- no, no, I mean rare beanies when they are authentic. There are oodles of royal blue Peanuts on the auctions and these three were hawking them.

She wants me to send her the beanies first so she can say that I switched

comments: COUNTERFEIT SELLER ALERT:
Oy! One ID gets busted, another gets activated... Why does eBay even BOTHER
trying to appear legitimate?
sleek-line (as in

lightbult (whatever that means...did you forget the "i", or hit the
"u" instead of the "o". Rattling off too many user ID'S at one
sitting?)
toys4u168 (as in
"beanie4u"=NARU?)
bbiggie30 (sshhh...private)
prada*1 (LA Confidential too!)
toykoral199
One theory is that these "SUSPENDED" counterfeiters want to make reasonably certain their loyal clients can find them again (as once the eBay ID is "NARU", the counterfeiter must also abandon the email addy, the "drop box" number and "contact info". No sense in continuing to retrieve your mail if the USPS authorities or FBI could be watching your box... They may lose some Money Orders, Checks and Cash, but they'll be "free" to scam another day. Small price to pay.
The counterfeiters we think are idiots for choosing ID'S so similar to their NARU ID (ie: "ej crop" from "ejcorp") may not be so much unwittingly dumb as WITTINGLY so... Perhaps they intentionally do this so their "regulars" will be able to find them again, ie: those eBayers consciously looking for the same SUSPENDED counterfeit beanie seller to re-surface, hence their choice of familiar "handles".
Please bear this tidbit in mind: we are not naming hundreds of regular eBay "HTF Beanie" sellers whom we highly SUSPECT have done "repeat business" with this CALIFORNIA COUNTERFEIT CLAN for fake Libearty, Garcia, Maple, Bubbles etc etc etc. These sellers are OBVIOUSLY re-selling the fakes SUCCESSFULLY via their "legitimate" appearing eBay user ID'S, from "OK" or elswhere on planet earth. There are FAR TOO MANY of those unscrupulous sellers to individually identify here (however, we view your auctions and shake our heads). But you can bet that these fine upstanding eBay sellers routinely search out their favorite NEWLY SUSPENDED Counterfeit Seller when looking to re-order...
Based on the sheer volume of bogus TY beans & buds this notorious CALIFORNIA ring has dumped on the collectibles market since 1998, I would venture to guess that 99% of all UNATHENTICATED "HTF" Beanies currently listed at auction are NOT genuine TY. So folks, that "real good deal" YOU got from the seller in WHEREVER USA should most definitely be sent for authentication. To an ACREDITED & REPUTABLE professional, and not simply one who is a self-proclaimed "expert"...
Which leads to another thing that makes auntie's scam meter go hmmmm: Wonder who the designated "professionals" at "beancheck.com" actually are? www.beancheck.com are offering their own "authenticated" beanies w/certificates stating so... other sellers are ALSO advertising their AUTHENTICATED "beancheck" Ty product...hmmmmm.
By golly, maybe I'll print ME up some nice lookin' certificates, buy ME some "MWMT" hard-to-find fake beanies on eBay (better still, fly to LA myself and eliminate those undependable middle men!) and go into the fake beanie biz at eBay too! Seems like there's MORE than enough business to go around. Call my authentication service "dumbeandumber.con".

send the beanie back. I did (being naive) and have received no refund and
no authentic MWMT beanie. She has either deleted or ignored all email attempts

Comments: Members of the BBKK, those who sell their counterfeit beanies under
the white sheet of anonymity (private auctions) are still out in force, but
there was one bit of rather humorous news
yesterday:
future_power_seller kinda fell short with this lofty ambition. She
is now NARU. This is the one who is kinda lawsuit happy but doesn't know
much about lawsuits and that she would be ripped apart in cross-examination
if a suit were ever to materialize, which ain't likely. Beth doesn't know
that one must go before the court with clean hands. What is her cause of
action, pray? Revenue lost from countrfeit beanie sales? Puleeeez!
Here is today's list:
1. weezersounds with lots of choices for your
counterfeit collection.
2. fixmylz@aol.com
3. valchick@aol.com - can't guarantee authenticity
of Chilly and Peking (your obligation baby.)
4. babygoku19 with China location. Ever figure
out how one can dial China, sweetie. You haven't done too well in the past.
frenchfriday still doesn't know if hers are authentic TY. All this time and you haven't had them authenticated? Gosh you could get soooo much more for them if certified authentic TY; you could go to jail for selling counterfeits. That has a nice ring to it!
Then we have bats flying all over SoCa as you read this. Must be mating season for the bats 'cause they are out in force. Some hawking "Radar" by the flock right now are:
Good old/young budice8, the s1ick one; alpinemix;rollergirls1; autionstop. So many more, so little time. See ya later (counterfeit) Ally-gator.
And here are some active ones:
weezersounds selling numerous HTF and rare beanies,
all counterfeits.

Comments: Mike Ward sold me a COUNTERFEIT TY SAKURA BEANIE BABY on an Ebay
Auction that ended on 1-5-01. On 4-8-01 I found out about the Counterfeit
Sakura from the Beanie Mom Website posting that Ty had deemed the Sakura
Beanie Baby with Tush Tag No. 4FWEZTKT as being a FAKE. I emailed Mr. Ward
twice on 4-8-01 and received no response. Then I went to this website and
contacted his mediator, Pat concerning the matter and she in return told
me to fill out his INFORMATION SHEET and send it to him which
I did on 4-11-01. I did not hear from him until 4-23-01 with this message
I Quote THIS DEAL IS ALMOST 4 MONTHS OLD
.SORRY, BUT IT IS TO
OLD. In my book this deal since I first contacted him is only 3 months
old and no one knew about the COUNTERFEITS until Ty deemed them as COUNTERFEITS
in April 2001. He has posted on his auctions (before he changed the wording
at the bottom of his auctions NOW) ALL BEANIES ARE GUARANTEED TO BE
AUTHENTIC OR 100% REFUND!!!! My Question is AUTHENTIC WHAT?????
COUNTERFEITS!!!!!!!! I returned the COUNTERFEIT SAKURA BEANIE to him on 5/25/01
with delivery confirmation that he received it on 5/29/01 at 1:10pm, and
he didn't even have the decency to let me know that he received it. (BUT
OF COURSE, HE WILL SAY HE NEVER RECEIVED IT) because that's what he says
to everyone else............. MIKE WARD you now have BOTH my MONEY and the
COUNTERFEIT SAKURA. I WANT MY REFUND OF $86.77 + $4.95 SHIPPING AS YOU STATED
100% REFUND ON THE AUCTION I WON
.I cannot understand WHY
he is listed on this website as NOT being a BAD trader with the MULTIPLE
COMPLAINTS that have been posted on him especially for the months of April
and May
.He is now laying low on selling his COUNTERFEITS on Ebay with
auctions that have the beanies FLIP, SMART, BONGO and etc
..It will
be just a matter of time (once the heat cools down) before he is back at
selling the COUNTERFEITS. BEWARE OF HIS FEEDBACK OVER 4000 POSITIVE IN THE
PAST 6 MONTHS. WHAT A JOKE!!!!!!!! I WISH I HAD EDUCATED MYSELF A LITTLE
BIT MORE BUT HAVE DEFINITELY LEARNED A LESSON HERE THAT ALL HE WANTS IS YOUR
MONEY AND HONESTY MEANS NOTHING. WHAT IS THIS WORLD COMING TO???? MIKE, THIS
IS THE LAST TIME I WILL ASK YOU FOR MY REFUND....I WILL BE FILING OTHER CHARGES
AGAINST YOU AS YOU AND I BOTH KNOW THE TRUTH..........I POST THIS WITH MANY
REGRETS.....I HAD HOPED THAT MR. WARD AND I WOULD BE ABLE TO SETTLE THIS
AMONG US OR AT LEAST WITH HIS MEDIATOR, PAT, BUT I WAS WRONG...........BUYERS

Tonight's list of the sellers offering counterfeit beanies on eBay auctions:
1. baaabbbs (private), Last auction 7/16
2. snoopy_90 (private), last auction 7/16. A
coincidence?
3. playaabsolute@aol.com with enough to satiate
any beanie appetite.
4. jumboslam is still hawking away.
5. Budice8. 382 auctions from which to choose.
Hey, you are s!ick man!
6. jeanshop22 (beanies private). Need to have
your beanies authenticated if you don't know. Tell it to the judge, "But
judge I didn't know Libearty's history when I sold them on auction."
7. julialis2000@yahoo.com still around!

Comments: With all the complaints recently about the counterfeit sellers out there, I think it's time to pay some recognition to the fast fingered buyers of these items. If you're in the market for a questionable Sakura beanie baby, there are several out there, mainly offered by the same few sellers, but you better move fast! The competition is fierce out there. The busiest of all looking for a few Sakuras has to be reddogred, who at last count has bid against himself 7 times on an auction offered by dusthammond (who can resist bidding on someone from a location such as "with tag protector") He outbid himself 5 times in 2 minutes on this one, folks. He also has outbid himself 12 times on a jumboslam Sakura, slowing down just a little at 6 times in 6 minutes. He was only able to bid 4 times on cardsulove (private) auction, but might have been scared off by hedgecon who has outbid himself 12 times in 3 minutes with a total of 14 bids. These are not the only bidders eager to grab!
up these very questionable HTF bears. Our friend budice8
has more than one auction going right now also. At last count
duggerwhatcheer has outbid himself 7 times with
his best record at 6 times in 1 minute. Very impressive!! On another auction
by budice8, seattle_bound must have taken the
advice offered in the description, "bid high and often", and has 6 bids,
outbidding himself 4 times in 1 minute.
scoobydo@osb.att.ne.jp also must have some dandy
Sakura there. ty_phong and ty_olack have both
been bidding against themselves at the same rate of 3 times per minute on
this one. So far, the winners of the fastest fingers are tied between
hedgecon and
seattle_bound, both able to outbid themselves
at a record breaking pace of 4 times a minute. These auctions aren't over,
so the final results of the fastest bid against yourself competition is not
yet over. If your not fast enough to win these auctions, don't worry. These
same sellers seem to have plenty to go around.

When I sent him email, he didn't answer, and when he finally did he was nasty...stated the bear is "real" because he bought it from TY. How could he buy it from TY when this bear was made in Japan???? Now I'm stuck with the bear and am out $78.00! I'm also wondering how he managed to get 600+ feedbacks when he's only been on eBay for a month??? Now he has changed his feedback to "private". Wish there was some justice.

.
Herewith today's members of the BBKK sellers -- them that hides under the
white sheets of anonymity 'cause they all know what they are doing is illegal
and they want to hide their shameless faces.
1. shop_200. Sorry, but you don't have a leg to stand on if your buyers learn you sold them counterfeits. Your "no-return" policy doesn't hold water when your beanies are not TY authentic.
2. future_power_seller. Love the ring to that ID! Still offering counterfeit beanies along with boys jacket, etc.
3. Clubby1@home.com. This seller has a nice collection of counterfeit beanies including wingless Quacker. What, no royal blue Peanut?
4. cardsulove has another big crop of hard-to-find beanies, most counterfeit. What no royal blue Peanut either! Geez, what is this counterfeit world coming to?
5. star_900. This is getting so EZ! Has Nana, Sting, Goldie, Libearty awaiting your hard-earned dollars.
6. jazzcubs doesn't hide but says s/he bought on the secondary market so be careful. Maybe suggest escrow to be safe. Feedback is almost all that of a buyer. Has 2 Billionaire #1 beanies on auction.
7. Good ol' alpinemix has 86 auctions going with this ID. He met the boat from China before it made shore.
8. jumboslam has 122 auctions going for his counterfeits. He beat alpinemix out to sea.

Comments: I don't know if you remember the fraud case I have against Mary Weese of Acampo CA in regards to a counterfeit Sakura. Well, there hasn't been much to report until this week. The US Postal Inspector is investigating and I received Mary's response to the USPS Sat. Pretty pathetic. In addition, I spoke to the District Attorney's office and Sheriff's Dept of the county she lives in. There is now a open case against her with the San Joaquin County Sheriff. The Sheriff will be forwarding to the DA (I just have to get my prints of the photos sent off to them). I might add that if anyone else has had some bad deals with Mary Weese they should contact the San Joaquin County Sheriff's Dept at 209-468-4400. The officer handling my case is Officer Richard Cantu. When I spoke to the DA office, they thought that there might not be anything they could do about it until I cited for her Section 350 paragraph (a) of the California Penal Code (yes, I have been doing LOTS of research) which states:
Any person who, willfully manufactures, intentionally sells, or
knowingly possesses for sale any counterfeit of a mark registered with
the Secretary of State or registered on the Principal Register of the United
States Patent and Trademark office..
Mary Weese is in violation of this penal code and thus has committed a criminal act. The best part of all of this, even though the DA can still choose not to file charges against her, the Sheriff's Department will be on her doorstep conducting their investigation.
By the way, she is no longer selling on Yahoo under the ID madweese. She is doing lots of buying of beanies with that ID so I suspect that she is using another ID for selling. I mean, how many Patriots does one person need? <smile> I thought you might be interested in the update.... especially if anyone might have a case against her.
Anyone dealing with a counterfeiter in California REMEMBER Section 350 paragraph (a) of the penal code. Call the police department and demand they open an investigation and that it be turned over the the County's DA office! Don't wait for eBay or Yahoo to take care of these people, get them with the criminal law of their home state of California!

All these FORMER ID's were NARU'd withing DAYS of "activation", ie: listing auctions. Mostly accomplished by the feverish work of the FRAUD SQUAD. Let's NEUTRALIZE this boxo hiding under his "new" EXCLUSIVELY "Sportscards Seller ID" as well... HOWEVER: won't do a bit of good...WHY? This "cardsinc777" ID is now "dormant" as a seller...NGUYEN stopped listing "new" sportscard auctions on July 8. Has not shipped an order SINCE then, whaddayawanna bet?
CONCLUSION: he has ALREADY activated several "new seller" ID's at eBay. From the amount of recent "NEGATIVES", the "cardsinc777" has obviously outlived it's usefulness. Go to SUSPENDED "sideswiper25" ID list of recent auctions, and "cardsinc777" recent auctions to view his "modus operendi", familiarise yourselves with his auction "headers" and study his "text" for clues.

"ashsti" from CA (City of Angels)
"hdplus@hotmail.com" from "don't miss it" USA
NEXT BET: which of those seller's NUMEROUS Fake Garcia will close for the

a FAKE Garcia from a COUNTERFEIT DEALER, thinking heck, no "savvy secondary
seller" looking to pick up a cheap fake or "naive" collector would be FOOL
enough to bid more than thirty bucks, I can win this FAKE GARCIA...
Then someone else has the SAME IDEA, placing a "max bid" of $210, thinking
no one would be fool enough to bid $205 on a COUNTERFEIT BEANIE...yowza,
YOU'RE HIGH BIDDER AT $205!!!! Wouldn't that be a RIOT? THEN, at the LAST
SECOND, the FIRST BIDDER RETRACTS his $200 bid, and the SECOND BIDDER ends
up WINNING the FAKE GARCIA for "starting bid price" of $7.99...Wouldn't that
be FUN to see? LOL!

Comments: I won this sellers auction on ebay June 15th for a Buckingham beanie
MWMT for the amount of $56.00 with $6.00 for postage. I immediately emailed
Skyairtrader to let him know that I was the
winner and give him my address and secure what form of payment he accepted.
He sent me a very nice email and told me to send either a postal money order
or cashiers check to K. Kouyou at 466 Foothill
Blvd #342, La Canada, California 91011. He also said that he accepted paypal
and that would be fine also. I don't do mail to much can go wrong so I notified
him that I would be sending him payment through paypal but it would be on
the 23rd of June. I asked if this would be a problem and he emailed me right
back and said that it would be fine to do it the way I just described. On
June 23rd I sent him $56.00 for beanie and $6.00 for postage and an additional
$1.50 for insurance and delivery confirmation and asked in the remittance
advice that he send me the tracking number when he shipped. I explained why
the extra money and what I expected for it. For some reason I decided to
use an e check from my account don't know why just did so it had until the
25 or so before it was released to him. I emailed him as soon as it was released
and I was notified by Paypal that he had to money to please advise me of
what method of shipping he would be using, when he would be shipping, reminded
him of the extra money for insurance and delivery confirmation, and requested
that he send me the delivery confirmation number so that I could track the
shipment. For 4 days straight I send him email and he didn't reply finally
on the 2nd of july he sent me mail and said what did you win? I emailed him
the site of the winning auction, a copy of the receipt from paypal and the
email confirming that he had received the payment. He sent back mail that
I would have it in 3 or 4 days because of the holiday. I patiently waited
until the Friday after the 4th of July and still no package, no information
on shipping and no delivery confirmation number. Then I started emailing
him at least twice a day. Went to his ebay ratings and saw that he had gone
private and that he had evidently received several complaints or something.
I emailed him concerning this ALSO. Have not heard a word from him since
the 2nd of July. I received email telling me that I needed to check this
site and see what was going on. I contacted SquareTrade, Paypal, my bank,
National Fraud information center, Internet Fraud complaint center, I even
called him and got a recording in spanish. Left message and to date he has
not replied to me, SquareTrade, Paypal. I have emailed the Attorney General
Bill Lockyer in Sacremento and Pat on this website concerning this matter.
I told Mr Kouyoumjian that I was going to do all of this if he didnt contact
me and explain or send the beanie so that I had it by Wednesday, July 11th,
or I expected a full refund by that same date. I have heard nothing and he
has not contacted anyone else as of this posting to explain. I am in the
process of emailing other winners from his site to see if the same or similar
thing has happened to them with this seller. I will be contacting ebay Fraud
tonight to file formal complaint also. Perhaps if more than one complaint
comes in Ebay will pull his current items that are on the ebay auctions and
have not closed. If anyone has had any dealings with this seller, or can
offer any other suggestions on what to do, please feel free to contact me.
Ebay used to be a great place to find that special bean that you couldn't
find anywhere else. Now it is becoming a haven for rip off artist, scam artist
and plain old trash that probably can't make a living anyother way but to
do it illegally, sucking poor unsuspecting bidders dry and expecting us to
sit back and take it quitely. I am a fighter and have nothing to lose but
time so whatever it takes I will follow this through till the end.!

Comments: PLEASE READ:
Time to put some additional heat on the Counterfeit Sellers at eBay and anywhere
else they are flogging their fake Ty product. Yahoo and eBay don't allow
a bidder access to the seller's "email address" to ask pertinent questions
of their sellers before bidding. Therefore, you are required to use their
"ask seller a question" feature. OK. Let's get together here and ask a FEW
questions of these OBVIOUS COUNTERFEIT SELLERS, documenting their replies.
Talk is cheap, takes money to buy whiskey.
SEND THIS INQUIRY TO ALL SUSPECTED COUNTERFEIT TY DEALERS.
(feel free to cut and paste the "inquiry" below, and modify as required):
Hello Fellow eBayer:
I am considering bidding on some of your more HTF "TY" Beanie Babies auctions,
however, I do have some serious concerns regarding your listings. Please
answer these questions for me, so that I may make an informed decision regarding
your credibility as a "new" seller:
1. Do you guarantee all your "HTF" Beanie Babies to be AUTHENTIC TY PRODUCTS,
originally manufactured and distributed by TY, Inc?"
2. If you DO guarantee the above to be fact, then I am quite curious to know
why you don't simply have your HTF Ty Beanies authenticated prior to listing?
The $15 fee you'd incur would be more than reimbursed in final auction price,
as AUTHENTICATED TY BEANIES are fetching 4-8 times higher closing bids than
the "fake beanies" flogged by all the COUNTERFEIT SELLERS at eBay who claim
their TY beanies are "authentic" but somehow will never put their money where
their mouth is. (**eg: "unauthenticated" (potentially COUNTERFEIT) Libearty:
$30-$50, AUTHENTICATED Libearty $125-$200)
3. As a seller, do you guarantee "satisfaction or 100% REFUND"?
4. If you DO guarantee "authenticity" and "satisfaction", and I win your
auctions, I must of course corroborate your documented claims by having your
"genuine" TY product IMMEDIATELY authenticated by an acredited authentication
service. If your TY Beanies are determined to be "COUNTERFEITS", are you
willing to REFUND 100% of: purchase price, Authentication Fee, and all shipping
costs incured in authentication and original transactional shipping?
(if auction "location" is vague, please add this:)
5. Where EXACTLY are you located? (*ie: name of city and state, as "JUMBOSLAM" (or whatever the "vague" location is) is not on any US map...)
As you may or may not be aware of, there is a large "TY" Counterfeit Ring
operating at eBay and other auction sites. Counterfeit TY Sellers are being
"SUSPENDED" on a weekly basis at eBay, from "established" sellers having
accumulated 10,000+ feedback, to "newly registered" seller ID's. However,
because eBay has not yet seen fit to implement proper security screening
of it's "new sellers", these SUSPENDED COUNTERFEITERS are still able to
"re-register", thus gaining brand new seller ID's, but listing all the same
COUNTERFEIT TY PRODUCT they were previously suspended for.
Because of this lack of security, the honest eBay community is NOT protected
from this ongoing ILLEGAL ACTIVITY, even though FRAUD, COUNTERFEIT &
ILLEGAL RE-REGISTRATION AFTER SUSPENSION are clearly in violation of eBay
Policy.
Since eBay suggests: BUYER BEWARE, we experienced TY COLLECTORS & eBayers
are seeking to PROTECT OURSELVES from FRAUD ABUSE by investigating all "new"
TY sellers at eBay.
Since you are a recently registered seller at eBay, listing the same HTF
TY BEANIES as the previously SUSPENDED COUNTERFEIT DEALERS as mentioned,
I must make these inquiries in order to establish you are NOT one of those
"re-registered" previously suspended Counterfeit Dealers. (*if you don't
fully understand the nature of my inquiry, please see
www.traderlist.com/Caution_July2001.html
for additional information.)
Please FULLY respond to all 5 sincere and legitimate auction questions. Should
you decline to do so, I would presume it is because you have something to
hide, therefore your credibility as a "legitimate TY seller" would be highly
suspect. I would then be obligated to forward this inquiry to SAFE HARBOR
at eBay, advising that "the seller" has refused to reply to my "questions"
regarding their auctions. Upon which eBay's "Investigations Department" must
initiate their own inquiry, or be held legally liable for ignoring potential
ILLEGAL ACTIVITY on their website.
If you are a "legitimate" TY seller, I know you will understand the need
for this inquiry, and will not be offended. All legitimate TY sellers and
collectors are just APPALLED at the flood of Counterfeit TY Traffic at eBay.
The more experienced & informed collectors and sellers in the TY COMMUNITY
are doing whatever we can to NOT to fall prey to FRAUDULENT TY DEALERS. We
have established a network, helping to clearly identity new TY COUNTERFEIT
SELLERS at eBay. We will NO LONGER "trustingly" bid these TY auctions, "hoping"
that these inexpensively won "HTF" "RARE" TY beanies will be "genuine". Sadly,
our collective experience to date has proven that these cheaply won Ty beanies
are indeed TY COUNTERFEITS.
Your reply to this inquiry will greatly assist in confirming YOUR credibility
as a legitimate seller of AUTHENTIC TY PRODUCT. If you would like to establish
yourself as an honest eBay seller, then I have no doubt you'll be willing
to help in this regard.
Thanks in advance for your timely cooperation!

Comments: After 3 months, mounds of paperwork and a Victim of Mike Ward's
I can finally say I got my money back on the "Famous Counterfeit Sakura 4FWEZTKT
and Nipponia (Fake ???)" I became a victim of his on February 13, 2001 when
I won an auction on Ebay. My credit card conducted their investigation and
determined "an error did occur and the credit to my account has been made
final" To anyone that purchased a Counterfeit whether it be a SAKURA, LIBEARTY,
BRITANNIA, RADAR, EVEN BESSIE, etc. before returning them be sure to take
pictures of the counterfeit, make hard copies of the auction, bill of sale,
emails you receive or complaints you see posted on the seller and especially
keep the tape recording if they are dumb enough to leave a rude message on
your answering machine. Look and Read their feedback closely but don't let
it fool you. These Sellers of Counterfeits know exactly what they are selling
and when they get caught get very rude and act like they are the Victims.
When returning the worthless bags of beans the cheapest way is to ship Priority
Mail with Delivery Confirmation as you have already spent enough on postage
getting the FAKE to you so why spend more? In my case the COUNTERFEITS /
??? were returned to this "GENTLEMAN" (and I use this word very loosely")
claims he never rec'd the beanies / fakes back. Even with delivery confirmation
that they were delivered to his address. Now everybody is lying except him
even the UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE. After filing my Ebay FRAUD report
on 4-5-01 (which WAS concluded in my favor) I rec'd a telephone call from
Mike Ward which he claims that I called him. (Hey Mike check your phone bill)
He was very rude and stated "He was losing his shorts over these beanies."
He called again on 4-8-01 and was dumb enough to leave a rude maybe threatning
message on my answering machine (which I have) and called again on 6-11-01.
MIKE WARD IF YOU ARE READING THIS AS I AM SURE THAT YOU WILL SINCE PAT YOUR
MEDIATOR, THAT YOU HAVE FOOLED ALSO WILL SEND IT TO YOU ""DO NOT CALL MY
HOME AGAIN"" To anyone who has purchased a Counterfeit from him and have
not rec'd their money back but sent the beanies back to him, please contact
Attorney General Bill Lockyer, State of California, Department of Justice,
Public Inquiry Unit, P.O. Box 944255, Sacramento,Ca. 94244-2550 or by phone
916-322-3360. Mike Ward answered my complaint to the Attorney General's office
with an unsigned letter dated 21 June 2002, So I guess he is planning on
selling Counterfeits / Fakes next year also. Also file a complaint with the
California Better Business Bureau. DO NOT let him send you a replacement
Sakura Beanie because that will probably be a Counterfeit / Fake with a different
Tush Tag Number as this has been known to happen....Almost forgot I even
received my POSTAGE back.

Which is of particular interest to me because this is the area where

Subject: MAD AS HELL
Comments: PLEASE take the time to read the posting by MAD AS HELL written
by Aunt Millie. It is excellent!!! All buyers and sellers of TY products
should heed her advice and boycott ebay and it's policies supporting the
selling of counterfeit items for monetary gain. One thing that was not mentioned
in this masterpiece of writing was the fact that, even though TY itself pretends
to be appalled by counterfeiting of it's product, it is not even a member
of VeRO, Ebays own verified rights owners organization, which would give
them the right to keep an eye on the selling of counterfeit TY items and
have the auctions closed. I have personally contacted TY about this on more
than one ocassion with no response from them. TY has the ability to help
curb some of this counterfeit selling, but does nothing.

Comments: The mediators here have seen fit to include a "disclaimer" to my
earlier harangue. That's fine.
So, which ARE these OTHER fine auction/trading sites which are alluded to,
if my chosen "alternative" to eBay is not an option for you?
Which ones SUPPORT & PROTECT their HONEST & ETHICAL
uyers/sellers/traders, offering more than the "lip service" and "see policy"
in their automated emails...? As far my experience reveals, with most sites
OTHER than Collecting Nation, BABY, you're on your OWN, so GOOD LUCK! And
I am NOT without experience, compared with MOST people out there...(**"I
didn't KNOW"... "my Coral LOOKS good, how can I tell if it's real?"..."Well,
MY Libearty IS authentic, my friend looked at it and says it's real" (YEAH,
a REAL GOOD FAKE! lol!)..."what's this world COMING to"... "why does eBay
ALLOW this to happen, why don't they DO something"...** enough said!)
But hey, I might have missed a good trading site along the way! So: Let's
compare notes, and get YOUR "TRADER LIST" comments about another "alternative"
to eBay. Let's discover precisely WHICH websites other than COLLECTING NATION
are safe & ACCOUNTABLE to their ETHICAL TY buyer/trader/seller membership.
Cause in ANY good business venue, you have to "PAY TO PLAY", so if it's "FREE"
you better not hope for much accountability there... I'll read your stories,
but until you ca prove to me otherwise, I'll continue to put MY money where
I am treated with dignity, respect and FAIRNESS in return for my CASH! CN
has earned every penny: I sing their praises and THANK GOD for being there
and having an alternative to c-bay! (c-bay, evil-bay, whatever nick-name
you have for that atrocious place!)
Bidville.com...? hmm...FREE AUCTIONS...so far! Any support there if the crud
hits the fan, folks? Not to MY knowledge. I was robbed there when it was
'Nobidding', and the seller was NOT "removed" for FRAUD AND THEFT. He is
on the BAD TRADER LIST right here... Haven't really bothered with that outfit
since THAT "brush off" by the non-support staff.
META EXCHANGE...any "support" there? Oh sure...! If you place a "buy order",
the COUNTERFEITERS WILL PICK YOU OFF LIKE A CROW!!! If you decide to purchase
YOURSELF, from one of the "sell orders" clogging the arteries of their
"pits"...well, you're shooting the dice, really... purchasing beanies from
"anonymous" entities with no "USER ID", no "FEEDBACK TEXT" to investigate
WHY the seller has a "4.6" feedback... which may look like a "safe bet",
after 1,000 deals...But what this actually means is that 80 people are severely
DISGRUNTLED with that particular seller for some "UNKNOWN" reasons...hmmm...
have you ANY hope to EVER find out WHAT THE GRIEVANCES are, BEFORE "matching"
yourself to him? NOPE!!! You ONLY get to discover this AFTER you've been
hooped yourself! That's always a fun site, if you enjoy playing RUSSIAN ROULETTE
with your money...
TY.com...Don't know, anyone have some input about this one? Too hard getting
the d*** thing to load...Not enough RAM...
amazon.com...Any support there? Don't know, don't even think any TY people
bother with this site any longer, do you?
Yahoo.com?...in my humble opinion, only a YAHOO would buy any TY product
listed from anyone at YAHOO...period. TRY getting information from the "powers"
that be at Yahoo...trying FINDING some support...yeah, really "user friendly",
and ON PURPOSE I might add...Yippee! COUNTERFEIT DEALER HEAVEN!
SO, last but not LEAST:
Collecting Nation, former "BEANIE NATION": SAFE, ACCOUNTABLE and support
staff is "TY friendly" AKA knowledgable! It WAS primarily a BEANIE AUCTION
SITE, and still is...
CN employs well trained support staff who are AVAILABLE, accessible and SMART.
(**one gal is a bit of a pain, but by and large, really EXCEPTIONAL SUPPORT
STAFF.) Any problem which cannot be resolved by the individual parties involved
in a "Bad Transaction" are immediately addressed, and with a HUMAN RESPONSE,
not an "automated" form letter...Serious "BAD TRADER" claims requiring
intervention are investigated, with all evidence on BOTH SIDES of the dispute
carefully analyzed. The problem is quickly mediated and RESOLVED, and in
any case I was involved with, settled in favor of the INJURED PARTY. (**though
the lying perp may obviously claim different...LOL!)
Anyway, since the mediators here saw fit to add to my posting below, thought
I would add my 2 cents to theirs...
**Note from Mediators..Traderlist.com also has a trade/buy/sell board,
and we have never had any complaints :)

TO READ THIS: TIME TO TAKE MATTERS INTO OUR OWN HANDS
I don't know about any of you, but I, for one, am completely sick and tired
of these useless COUNTERFEITER "sting" operations over at eBay. Why? They
are INEFFECTIVE at best. They are a temporary "band-aid" solution in staunching
the flow of COUNTERFEIT TY TRAFFIC.What has happened so far, in this month
long flurry of activity by the "FRAUD SQUAD" and other interested parties?
Any "progress" (**NARU's SELLER) who has previously been suspended at eBay
ad naseum is not put out in the LEAST by ANOTHER few suspensions under different
aliases. When any one of these bottom-feeders get's "hot-listed" and feels
in danger of being SUSPENDED (**they read this page, naturally...), all they
do is immediately activate a previously registered ID. So, what have we all
accomplished with the HOURS of work involved in getting ebay to "suspend"
any particular "COUNTERFEIT ID"... ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! Merely MORE work for
the mediators at the "trade list", and MORE HOURS employed by the "Fraud
Squad" in tracking the NEW ID'S...
Moreover, if a Counterfeiter had at least been SHIPPING their worthless goods
PRIOR to being "hot-listed", once thier name is KNOWN, the dealers then STOP
SHIPPING orders when the remaining auction payments flow in to their
"drop-boxes"...
Hey c-Bay (**not a type-o, YOU figure out what the "c" stands for!): We who
post at the TRADER LIST are not trained "FBI" agents or renumerated eBay
investigators...Most of us are hard-working MOM'S and little old GRAMMAS
for pity's sake! And although untrained and UNPAID, even WE can spot a
COUNTERFEIT SELLER at eBay a MILE AWAY. I have it on god authority that an
"11 year old girl" can pick 'em off in seconds on a DAILY BASIS.
QUESTION FOR YOU GOOD TRADERS: why is eBay, a MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR high profile
dot com enterprise, with dozens of attorneys and "FRAUD investigators" at
their disposal, quietly allowing this ILLEGAL ACTIVITY to flourish on their
previously touted "Safe" website? (**Hey anyone remember when you would log
on to ebay, and see this question on the home page: "why is eBay SAFE?" Anyone
seen that "disclamer" lately?...
ANSWER: Money. Always FOLLOW THE MONEY, and you will more than likely discover
who the REAL PERPETRATOR is in this scandelous situation. WHO BENEFITS from
this FRAUD activity (**follow the money)? Counterfeit Sellers and eBay.com
and it's "investors". Who loses? Innocent, uninformed but TRUSTING eBay members
who are NOT "professional" sellers themselves, and the entire TY COLLECTOR
WORLD at large. Is it enough to EXPOSE this eBay activity? NO, it is NOT
enough. Concerned citizens must now seek to attack this problem at it's evil
root: Stem the FLOW OF MONEY to the COUNTERFEIT TRADERS and to EBAY. That's
the BOTTOM LINE. By continuing to do business at eBay, both legit sellers
and buyers alike are AIDING AND ABETTING.
A plea to LEGITIMATE BEANIE DEALERS:
Boycott eBay: STOP LISTING YOUR MERCHANDISE ON EBAY. Beginning today!
A plea to TY COLLECTORS:
Boycott eBay: STOP BUYING YOUR TY PRODUCT ON EBAY. Beginning today!
There IS a SAFE and REPUTABLE alternative to eBay for both the ETHICAL TY
SELLER and the CONSCIENTIOUS TY COLLECTOR. eBay has NOT swallowed up ALL
it's "competion", they are still NOT a Monopoly: COLLECTING NATION (**former
"Beanie Nation) is the ONLY auction solution to seller's dedicated to providing
collectors with QUALITY GENUINE TY PRODUCT. It is the ONLY website solution
for COLLECTOR'S wishing to buy QUALITY GENUINE TY PRODUCT.
Fine, buy and sell your old jeans, collectible salt and pepper shakers, etc
on eBay. Why not? There is NO COUNTERFEIT TRAFFIC to worry about. HOWEVER:
DO NOT BUY OR SELL TY PRODUCTS ON EBAY. Not even "new releases". NONE.
Period!
Sellers: until eBay is in PARTNERSHIP with the LEGIT TY SELLER, rather than
aiding and abetting the EROSION of this collectibles market and affecting
YOUR BOTTOM LINE: Hit eBay where it HURTS. Stop listing TY PRODUCTS on
eBay.
Buyers: until eBay is in PARTNERSHIP with the TY COLLECTOR, rather than aiding
and abetting the fleecing of your wallet, hit COUNTERFEIT SELLERS where it
HURTS. Stop buying TY PRODUCTS on eBay.
It's time to stop the MADNESS: why is ANY ethical TY SELLER still listing
on eBay? Why is ANY TY COLLECTOR still trying to purchase a GENUINE TY PRODUCT
on eBay, which is nearly IMPOSSIBLE, since the fakes now outnumber the genuine
TY products? WHY?? When there is an ETHICAL AUCTION alternative available
to us?
COLLECTING NATION has a long history as primarily a TY COLLECTOR auction
site, whose listing has steadily declined over time, as their sellers and
buyers went over to "c-bay". All the while eBay has made more and more millions,
much of it aiding and abetting TY COUNTERFEIT TRAFFIC. HOw has this happened?
Because sellers so SURE that they can make more money on eBay auctions because
of "higher traffic"? Higher listing & commission fees notwithstanding?
Has "the bottom line" so clouded our good judgement and sense of ethics?
Collecting Nation's listings HAVE indeed been steadily falling off over the
past 2 years. For what reasons? Not because of the quality of service or
the cost of doing business there...Sellers and Buyers are the reason. TY
Sellers are choosing to list at c-Bay, and Ty Collectors are choosing to
patronise that site well. Cannot figure out which came first, the chicken
or the egg...Did the sellers follow the "bidders" or did the "buyers" follow
the "sellers"...No matter, it happened. Resulting in the deplorable situation
we now find ourselves in. Collecting Nation has caring and thorough "support".
HUMAN MEDIATORS are there for you if you experience a problem which needs
mediation or investigation, as either BUYER or SELLER. If CN is informed
of a problem regarding a buyer or seller, a dedicated HUMAN BEING will
INVESTIGATE the complaint wisely & FAIRLY. Counterfeiters DO NOT STAND
a CHANCE of running 3-6-9 month long TY SCAMS at COLLECTING NATION. This
is why they do not OPERATE on COLLECTING NATION!
It is time we in the TY COMMUNITY took a proactive stance against this
contemptible COUNTERFEIT TY situation at eBay. If legitimate sellers would
simply QUIT LISTING on eBay, Collector's would quickly became aware through
the VAST Beanie Grapevine, that the ONLY LEGITIMATE & SAFE WEBSITE to
purchase authentic TY BEANIES is COLLECTING NATION. The only people left
at ebay getting "hurt" would be eBay investors, and COUNTERFEIT TY DEALERS.
If "legit" TY sellers would agree to have their "HTF" widely Counterfeited
TY PRODUCT authenticated, and list this "AUTHENTICATED" merchandise at COLLECTING
NATION, advertising precisely WHY they made the "switch", it would go a LONG
way in cutting off the snake's head. If ethical sellers and buyers BOYCOTT
EBAY, who would be left at eBay to "buy" the worthless fake beanbags that
are now being listed from as far away as "Germany", "Canada" and the UK,
"Hong Kong" "China", etc. All having been procurred via "eBay auctions",
when inquiries are made regarding "origin" of their TY merchandise...There
is your "guarantee" right there...of FRAUD!
Time to make a stand, folks. Put your MONEY where your MOUTH is, sellers!
If you are appalled as I am at what is going on at eBay regarding COUNTERFEIT
BEANIE SALES, then DO something PROACTIVE to "fix" it. These "Sting" operations
simply DO NOT WORK in the longterm, only the VERY short-term.
Put your money where YOUR mouth is, TY COLLECTORS!!! Why do you continue
to staunchly patronise a website that has done NOTHING to stem the flow of
COUNTERFEIT SELLERS? You badmouth eBay for "allowing" the scams to continue,
but continue to do business there. Sorry, you can't have it BOTH WAYS!!
Come on, eBay! If an 11 year old kid can zero in on these scammers, why can't
YOU? The ONLY possible reason is: nothing in it for eBay! eBay makes money
from the COUNTERFEIT SELLERS, and would have to actually fork over $RESOURCES$
in order to devise a solid system to prevent SUSPENDED COUNTERFEITERS from
re-registering. So far, eBay has not seen fit to do so...There's your "SAFE
HARBOR"...(**for COUNTERFEITERS, not buyers...)
This is a call to POSITIVE action:
TO ALL LEGITIMATE TY SELLERS & COLLECTORS:
REFUSE TO DO BUSINESS AT EBAY. Period.
I do NOT work for Collecting Nation. I merely take exception to patronising
an auction site which "suspends" honest citizens for attempting to assist
or warn victims of FRAUD, but PROTECTS FRAUDULENT ACTIVITY in so many different
but insidious ways. Not only through their bogus "policy infringement" rules
which only PROTECT SCAMMERS, but many other eBay "EXCLUSIVE" "protection"
devices which ALL serve to aid and abet the SCAM ARTIST, not the potential
victims of ebay FRAUD.
The Counterfeit Seller is gently assisted in that: eBay "protects email ID'S",
and even when the seller get's "hot-listed" here on the TRADER LIST or elsewhere,
they can continue to line their pockets with ill-gotten cash. To warn a bidder
that they have bid a COUNTERFEIT AUCTION, you have to jump through eBay hoops,
and THIS, and not listing Counterfeits, is "illegal activity" & cause
for SUSPENSION (**for the person emailing a warning, not the COUNTERFEITER)
He's been PROTECTED by "eBay policy", and if a victim turns your warning
over to eBay (**especially if that "person" is a shill-bidding ID for the
Counterfeiter...) it's "bye bye" honest eBayer, but COUNTERFEITER, you're
still free to list your worthless but FRAUDULENT junk...
eBay "protection #20": any recent NEGATIVE FEEDBACK can and WILL eventually
be masked from the "inexperienced collector" with eBay "loop-holes" like
"hidden feedback"... (**you're asked to contact the "seller" for info! Ha!
(**again, you must enter your eBay ID, and password, and eBay will "FORWARD"
it for you, and you will only receive the perps email addy if he replies....LOL!!
Like asking the Devil "hey, isn't it too warm down there?"...."no, just
right!"...)
eBay loophole #58: the "private auction"...another fine "EBAY EXCLUSIVE
FEATURE"...in this way, no one can even 'forward' an email to the potential
victim. The perp is now in his GLORY!
Well, I can go ON AND ON, and have, yes, I know, but ENOUGH IS ENOUGH,
folks.
How long would any of these scam artists survive on COLLECTING NATION, which
does NOT silently protect FRAUDULENT DEALERS in the shameful manner with
which eBay does? About a DAY? Not long enough for anyone to actually LOSE
ANY MONEY, at any rate! And at first smell of SCAM, they would be IMMEDIATELY
SUSPENDED. Anyone trying to 're-register' selling the SAME MERCHANDISE will
be "investigated" and SUSPENDED if clues point to a KNOWN SCAMMER. I will
be at COLLECTING NATION, and so will others, EVER VIGILANT.
Furthermore, it is TRULY "illegal" (**not just lip-service) to list TY PRODUCTS
at Collecting Nation declaring that seller "cannot guarantee authenticity",
etc. It is a SELLER'S RESPONSIBILITY to insure AUTHENTICITY of TY goods BEFORE
LISTING!!
Any auctions which even REMOTELY smack of "Counterfeit TY Seller" will be
reported and then HALTED by the very capable and infinitely WISE powers that
be at CN. Anyone attempting to gain admittance to CN (**ie: "new seller,
"0" feedback, lots of "genuine" HTF TY merchandise", or even an "old seller"...)
and listing those usual California Counterfeit "HTF" TY PRODUCTS will be
swiftly investigated and will have a VERY SHORT CAREER at Collecting Nation
if found to be flogging Counterfeits. NEVER TO BE RE-ADMITTED ENTRY.
**If any of you despicable scammers are reading this, I would like to see
you TRY to ply your nefarious trade at Collecting Nation. I throw down my
gauntlet to you.**
If you are a legitimate TY seller or buyer, and claim you want to see "justice",
then this is YOUR OPPORTUNITY!
PLEASE: join this coalition for CHANGE:
BOYCOTT EBAY
List ALL your "TY PRODUCTS" ONLY at COLLECTING NATION. Begin TODAY.
If this plea is ignored, then let's all please just stop complaining. I no
longer wish to waste my time pursing these useless eBay "sting" operations,
and dealing with the "whiners" who won't post feedback and then keep bidding
on MORE CRAP from other counterfeiters at eBay... It's like peeing in the
wind. I am sopping wet and completely disgusted at this point.
You have a CHOICE to make, now just have the gumption to make the RIGHT
ONE.
We CAN effect a positive change, if we do so EN MASSE. Let's ge together
and UNITE the FIGHT.
Thank you for your time.
**Note from mediators. We are aware that there are MANY excellent auction
and trading sites on the internet, and hope collectors will search out the
one that best suits their needs.

the BBKK but has his/her white sheet protecting bidders from the mean ol'
world with a Made in New Zealand white sheep -- no, no, that's sheet. Chao
is selling the same old hard-to-find RARE beanies for a pittance that all
the white sheeters auction. Too bad they are not authentic. They would bring
such high prices. This is another of them there sellers who doesn't know
that the seller has the responsibility to authenticate what might be
countrrfeits. Sorry dearie but if your beanies are counterfeits no sale is
final (illegal though, and against BigBay policy) and if caught you might
have to hand over some of your hard-earned beanie monies to make restitution.
That authenticated Royal Blue Peanut on auction still has almost three days
to go before the auction ends and the high bid is still sitting at $1400.00.
Betcha it goes higher.

"THEREALBEANIE" who apparently can't afford a good camera to take
better pictures. Wonder what a good picture would reveal. Says can't afford
to have beanies authenticated. Gosh, I can't understand why because the prices
authenticated ones would bring would be tenfold+ higher than what the
nonauthenticated will bring.

This babe sells lots of counterfeits but doesn't like using USPS. Does UPS

counterfeits.

Comments: If anyone is curious about these counterfeit Royal Blue Peanut
beanie babies you have been reading about, check Item 1612834651 and see
what an authenticated Royal Blue goes for. With the auction not ending until
July 10, the bids, the last time I looked, were up to $1,400.00 with some
hot bidding going on. Quite a difference, huh? Ditto for an authentic "Steg"
beanie baby. There is one selling on the BigBay now. The authenticator for
both is well recognized so the auctions are legit.
Comments: Re above information. Yeah, right! This seller lists a phoney phone
number. Try dialing 25-3715051 and see what ya get. I knew at a glance 'cause
I am familiar with international dialing.
We'll see what the BigBay does about false contact information. Oh, and contact
information given is for China, but auction location says Hong Kong. Well,
we know that the lease terminated and HK went back to China but it is still
called Hong Kong, right?
I have a penchant for white sheets I guess 'cause this seller is another
who belongs to the BBKK organization and hides under the white sheet of anonymity
selling all the very rare beanies. Problem is for many who are duped, the
counterfeits are not so rare. Be AWARE and BEWARE!

Comments: We need to form a coalition to END this COUNTERFEIT CRIME WAVE
at eBay. Does anyone want to help? The FRAUD SQUAD does not have enough manpower
at this point, and there are simply TOO MANY of these Counterfeit Sellers
at eBay. They must be tackled individually, and are being SUSPENDED only
ONE AT A TIME at the rate we're going. They are up and running under NEW
ID's the SAME DAY...HOWEVER: it is FAR EASIER to BUST a counterfeit seller
listing under a "new" ID, rather than an "older" ID with acrued feedback
and the "false credibility" which goes with it. This is why it's IMPERATIVE
that we bust the OLDER COUNTERFEIT SELLERS first! When they re-register and
start re-listing Counterfeits, it's then MUCH EASIER to bring them down...
If you have some time available and wish to help in this effort, please contact
