Participated in an auction on ebay with above for three halos. There were 12 of us in all. Sent half the money up front, then he requested the balance on October 21. I sent it (so did the others), now as of October 22 he is off-line and we are out the money and the merchandise. His name is Jeremey Carroll and lives in Sweeden, KY but uses a PO box out of Bee Springs, KY. He has scammed us out of over $1400.  He is also known as wizardoftheweb, but we are unable to locate any other names as of this date. Webtv will not cooperate. We have notified local authorities and the FBI.

I sent him $84 in a personal check (which was cashed) and $84 in a money order (which was cashed) before I found out I was scammed. It was for a total of three halos. We mailed the money to JMC Collectables at PO Box 287, Bee Springs, KY 42207. In contacting others, they informed me his name is Jeremy Carroll at 864 Nolin Dam Rd., Sweeden, KY 42285.  I guess his scamming is nationwide from what they have found out so far -- so BEWARE.  The others are also filling out the postal form. I have done so also.

I was recently scammed in an eBay transaction with a trader who was known as webruler1. There were 12 of us who bid on the dutch auction for a Halo beanie, and lost a total of about $1400. The trader gave a PO box in Bee Springs, KY as his address, and gave JMC Collectables as his company name. We've since learned that his name is Jeremy Carroll and he lives in Sweeden, KY. I believe Carahjo, another of the bidders scammed by this trader, already reported this to you, but she asked the rest of us to e-mail you as well.

I wanted to report on scam artist working Dutch auctions on Ebay. Auction #34891071 for halo the bear 10/12/98. He scamed me for $114 paid by post office MO and 12 of us together for $1400.00. He used webruler@webtv.net but soon disapeared off the net and closed the PO box he used in Bee Springs, KY. He used the name JMC collectables as a front for the PO box. The Post Office gave us his name and address Jeremy and Dena Carroll, 864 Nolin Dam Road, Sweeden, KY 42285. They have used masterofweb@webtv.net as well. We have filed complaints and 8156 forms with the post office already as well as talked to local KY police.

The first package contained 5 new bears. They are millennium,99 signature, valentina, kicks and sammy. I sent them on February 4th in trade for libearty. The second package contained 6 new beanies, that are 99 signature,98 holiday teddy, halo, santa, zero and stilts. These were in trade for britainia. We got her from the Bean List web page. A few other people said they also were ripped off from her. I notified the state police in her town,Brownsville, and they e-mailed me back with some suggestions which I did follow.

On Jan 20th I was contacted by Dena Carroll. We were to trade a 97 Teddy for a 98 Teddy. We agreed to ship on Monday Jan 25th. Her e-mail address was ilovejerimy@hotmail.com. It was shipped to Dena Carroll PO box 632 Brownsville KY 42210. Needless to say...I never received the 98 Beanie. She sent me an e-mail after I questioned her if she received the 97. She said she didn't send it out till Wed. Last week I told her I would be reporting her to the "Bad Trader" list since she didn't respond to any of the later e-mails I sent to her ?'ing if she received her Teddy...because I didn't receive mine. Her response was: Here is my response. I didnt receive yours so I didnt send mine out. I do have the receipt from"Mailboxex etc" this is where it was packaged and shipped from...it includes the date of shipment, time and amount of postage.
